I will list here what you need to drastically enhance your Assetto Corsa experience
First absolutely mandatory is Content Manager (https://acstuff.ru/app/)
The greatest tool for AC, stock launcher is crap, Content Manager takes it to another level, with tons of options to customize everything

Content Manager Installation :
Pretty simple; extract the .exe anywhere and it's done. Run it and follow the instructions.
Next is Custom Shaders Patch (https://acstuff.ru/patch/)
The biggest improvement for the game, literally! Get new features like Brake Discs FX, tires deformation, odometers, tachometers, procedural grass, new lightning FX, enhanced shadows, enhanced particles, reflections, mirrors, weather FX etc only to name a few
You can install it automatically with Content Manager:
Settings -> Custom Shaders Patch -> Install
I'm not gonna explain everything on CSP since it's so vast, just look around and try things, save different configs if you're not sure of what you're doing.
Final step is SOL installation
SOL is the best WeatherFX for AC, it brings new clouds, new fog, new sun, complete solar system, new sky shader, 24h day/night cycle, free selection of date/time and more

You can quick login with Facebook,Google,Twitter etc if you're lazy

Installation: Open the archive and select the folders apps, content, extension, system and simply drop them in your Assetto Corsa root folder
Now get back to Content Manager go to Settings -> Assetto Corsa -> Video and in Post-Processing area select the filter _Sol
Thats it, you've just rejuvenated your game and added a ton of features, you're now ready to enjoy it to its fullest potential
